The base and Technology packages for the 2022 Acura may be equipped with either front-wheel-drive or the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™. A-Spec® and Advance models will only be available with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™. Buyers that own a 2022 MDX with FWD can tow up to 3,500 pounds and those with SH-AWD® will be able to pull up to 5,000 pounds. 

The 2022 MDX will rank among the more passenger-friendly three-row crossover SUVs in its class. Customers will be able to choose between six- and seven-passenger configurations. A 2022 Acura MDX that is at maximum passenger capacity will have 16.3 cubic-feet of cargo volume behind the rear seat. Owners can stow the rear-most row to make 39.1 cubic-feet available.
